Wedding checklists are really nice to have, so I went scouting for one that would be complete enough to get you to your special day without any gaps. To my shock, ALL the wedding checklists available online were missing really important To-Do items.

Checklist_Chronological.xls
The dates are just suggestions. If you are really organized, you can pull a wedding together in 4-6 weeks. The idea is to spread things out so you don't get stuck at the end with too much to do.
Let us know if you notice anything we're missing!

A Word On Traditions...
There is an old British ritual called "flinging the stocking". After the couple was married the guests would rush into the couple's bedroom and take their stocking, and the first guest to throw the stocking and hit either the bride or groom on the nose was the next to wed.
Sometimes it's just time for a tradition to be retired. If you don't like a tradition, you don't have to keep it. You've probably seen this video by now: (read more....)
